Applications
The Catalytic Vapor Filter (CVF100) offers a seamless solution to the problem of noxious vapors emitted by condensation particle counters (CPC), which can potentially contaminate measurements in both ambient and cleanroom environments.
Operating on the principle of swiftly removing gas-phase hydrocarbons like butanol or isopropyl alcohol using a heated catalyst, the CVF100 ensures precise measurements every time. Its plug-and-play design makes it compatible with most common CPC models, simplifying installation and integration into your setup.
How it works?
During operation, simply connect the outlet of your CPC to the inlet of the CVF100. Here, hydrocarbons undergo oxidation into harmless CO2 and H2O, efficiently expelled from the catalyst into the CVF100 housing. As the hot effluent cools within the device, it exits through the outlet located on the back, maintaining a smooth and continuous flow.
With its robust design and indoor use exclusivity, the CVF100 boasts an IP30 protection rating, ensuring safety and optimal performance in any indoor environment. Trust the CVF100 to safeguard your measurements and maintain accuracy with ease and reliability.
