Eliminate concerns about contamination of measurements in cleanroom or ambient environments with the Catalytic Vapor Filter (CVF100). This plug-and-play device is compatible with most common Condensation Particle Counter (CPC) models.
The principle of operation of the Catalytic Vapor Filter is simple yet effective: to remove gas-phase hydrocarbons such as butyl or isopropyl alcohol using a heated catalyst.
During operation, the process is seamless: simply connect the outlet of your CPC to the inlet of the CVF100. Here, hydrocarbons undergo rapid oxidation, transforming into harmless CO2 and H2O, which are then efficiently expelled from the catalyst into the CVF100 housing. As the hot effluent cools within the device, it exits through the outlet located on the back, maintaining a smooth and continuous flow.
Designed exclusively for indoor use, the CVF100 boasts an IP30 protection rating, ensuring both safety and optimal performance in any indoor environment. This robust design not only guarantees the longevity of your equipment but also provides peace of mind, allowing you to focus on accurate measurements without compromise.
Note: The Butanol Oxidation Efficiency Certificate is included with the purchase of the CVF100.
